I’m Mürüvvet Uygun
My childhood… Very difficult primary school years. I have difficulty in understanding, reading and math. I don’t know how to study, but I look for ways to know and find them. After that, it’s always a successful academic life.
I can’t get enough of reading. Books, the smells of books, so many things to learn and teach. All these are my multiplications in life.
What I read, what I see, what I taste, what I hear, what I touch starts pouring out of my pen. And they pour out in child language. Sometimes poetic, sometimes textual… I have been writing for children for years… My books become my children, for children.
The concept of “child” is at the center of my life. All its beauties make me tremble inside. It seduces me with all its features. I work for them, I write for them.
And so I continue… Just and only for “children to be happy”, “children to laugh”… I multiply with them…
I am close to fifty years old, my multiplications are close to thirties… Many more years together…
